Geez… the Fall/Winter collection hasn’t even dropped yet and we’re already getting a first look and what’s on deck for next year. The recent Bread & Butter convention in Berlin again provided curious sneakerhead ‘n’ fashionistas a first look of what’s on deck for the 2-0-1-3 in JeremyLand.
The initial images suggests that next year’s kicks will simply be new iterations of the popular Wings and animal head models. An update of the JS Bears will find Goldiocks’ fuzzy friends stepping into 2013 rocking a camouflage pattern this time around. As with the Pandas, the new Bears will have head gear as well in the way of a tan fishing cap with the Adidas logo printed on the front.
The Wings get another multicolor remix with the planned Hologram edition that seems to have drawn inspiration from a tropical berry bag of Skittles. So far, the buzz-iest design is the latest addition to the menagerie of animal-themed sneakers—- the upcoming JS Poodles. The cutesy kicks will come in a hot pink colorway featuring a poodle head, natch, with said pooch rocking a super fly pair of Linda Farrow x Jeremy Scott sunnies!
While nothing that I’ve seen so far is of the “MUST have!” variety for me, I’m sure that future previews of the collection in the coming months will reveal that J. Scott can still deliver—- besides he needs something so amazing that everyone forgets about the fail that was the “shackles shoes”.
UPDATE: OK, so perhaps my “not impressed” declarations were a bit premature as further research resulted in coming across images of those patent leather(?) wings and the plaid Forums. Perhaps not a “MUST have!”, but its pretty close. I gotta see ‘em in person before I decide if they are cop-worthy.
